Wow! I just heard the news of upcoming changes in your lives! Well, here's a big, big thank you for all the wonderful warm percolating vibes on the dance floor all these years. And thanks too for you generous hospitality. I have great memories of Athens dances, your home, and great breakfasts too.

You elicit Joy.
I've attended many dance weekends and one factor that made me more likely to sign up was if Hotpoint were playing. At the end of a weekend, I'd be filled with joy from your music and the dancing which flowed from it. I remember telling 1 of you if you were ever at a party and someone asked, "So, what do you do?" you could always tell them "I elicit joy."
Thanks for bringing joy to the hearts of hundreds of dancers across the country.

I move to Kansas, and everything I left behind falls to bits! No more Hotpoint??? I'm gonna miss you guys. Well, more now that there is no "you guys" I guess. Bummer. Still, here's hoping we meet again, dancing or otherwise. I have always loved your music, and you certainly made me go WOO more than once! All my love to every one of you FORMER Hotpointers. I'll especially always remember our times together at Peter & Arlene's. Best of luck in all you choose to do in the future!

Mark, Hillary, Marlene, Nick and Pokey,
I am so grateful for the wonderful times we have shared with each other. I can not express the large, huge, amount of joy I have experienced on the dance floor with you on the stage...And to be able to have stood in a corner in a small room in Athens Ohio so long ago is a happy memory. That and all of the other times I have worked with you over the years.
It was a fantastic weekend at Feet Retreat. Thank you. thank you. thank you.
I look forward to seeing you all again, as I eagerly await the announcement of your Reunion Tour!

Saw you for the first time in Hamilton Ontario after hearing so many raves about you..
Was knonced out by your performance. Your latest CD has been playing regularly in my car since then. I like everything on the CD with a special affection for Marley's Reel which combines two of my favorite genres.
